There is a strong relationship between food as a resource consumed and its carbon impact. Very understand the relationship or indeed what foods are more beneficial to the environment. In a small group explore the carbon impact of different meals that you might find in a restaurant and see what changes can be made to reduce their carbon impact.

Making environmental improvements to practices in the workplace will face resistance. This exercise adopts the principles of Newton’s first law that states that and object will remain in a position unless acted upon by an unbalanced forces. In the circular economy there are forces such asregulation or recycling targets that push the circular agenda, while there are resistant forces preventing movement. Work within a team to explore these forces.
