Making use of byproducts in dairy farming

While dairy farm is focused on the production of milk, there are other materials which arise on the farm as a result of milking activities.  These include liquid wastewaters and manure. This tool describes three exercises that student and teachers can use in a classroom setting.  Three leading articles on the relation between agriculture and hunger are presented, different languages of these can found on the links provided.  Students are then asked to discuss the issues whihc arise from farming and meeting global food requirements.  A word document and a classroom presentation are provided.
